Zeroll

The Zeroll Ice Cream scoop is considered the first modern Ice Cream scoop. The revolutionary design was the inspiration of Sherman Kelly of Toledo, Ohio. Sherman developed and designed the Zeroll scoop and received a patent for the product in 1933. The scoop is a non-mechanical ice cream scoop made from cast aluminium, with fluid in the handle. This is unique because the users hand warmed the fluid, which in turn defrosts the ice cream. The lack of breakable parts is also an advantage. Another advantage is that it rolls ice cream into a ball, instead of squeezing it, which allows the dispenser to get 10% - 20% more servings per gallon.

For over 70 years The Zeroll Company has continued to dominate the marketplace in company reputation and product quality. The Original Zeroll Ice Cream Scoop has undergone no substantial design change since its introduction in 1935 and is still manufactured in the United States of America. Zerolon Ice Cream Scoop – The Zerolon series of scoops and spades eliminates problems related to hard, over chlorinated or high mineral content water. Fused with the finish, anodised Teflon becomes tougher than coatings commonly used. Properly cared for the Zerolon will outlast The Original Zeroll Ice Cream scoops and shades.
